Who Is Tamika Mallory

Tamika Mallory is a nationally recognized American social justice and civil rights activist.

She was one of the leading organizers of the Women’s March that gathered half a million or so people in Washington, DC on January 21, 2017.

Tamika rose to tell women to stand up for women’s rights, immigration reform, healthcare reform, reproductive rights, the environment, LGBTQ rights, racial equality, freedom of religion, workers rights, and tolerance.

7 . Ms. Mallory parents were founding members and activists of Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network (N.A.N) A leading civil rights organization throughout the United States.

8 . In 2017, she was featured in Times Magazine top 100.

9. Tamika Mallory was selected to serve on the transition committee of New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, in 2014.

During that time she helped create the NYC crisis management system, an official gun violence prevention program that awards $20 million annually to gun violence prevention organizations.

10. Mallory is on the board of directors for Gathering For Justice an organization aimed at ending child incarceration and working to eliminate policies that produce mass incarceration.

Tamika D. Mallory has traveled around the world to speak about the pressing problems of society today and the initiatives that need to be taken into account to address these injustices.

There is no doubt that there is great concern among black and brown people that she is not standing up for the black population’s interests.
